Buy Kids Skateboard !!BETTER!!

Specifically designed for kids and teens looking for their first board. At 27.5 inches, the deck is a little shorter than a traditional skateboard making it the perfect size to learn on. Adults and advanced skaters looking for a smaller ride will have had a blast on this board also. The deck is made from rock hard maple with a shallow concave for added comfort while skating. Plenty of pop from this deck with the double kicktails. The board comes complete with no assembly required, ready to ride out of the box. A perfect gift for any young aspiring skater!

Skateboards are typically designed for older teens or adults. They are usually longer and heavier than a kid can handle for their first board. We designed this skateboard to be shorter and lighter specifically for kids ages 5-15 years old. As we were designing this board we learned that a smaller size is pretty fun for adults too! Advanced skaters looking to skate mini ramps or in small skate parks will have a blast with this board. The board comes assembled out of the box...that means you can go skate right when the board arrives!

We tested a lot of different shapes and sizes of skateboards for kids to use. We found that the traditional size and shape, around 31 inches long and 8 inches wide, was too long and heavy for kids. We ended up with a 27.5-inch long deck that is 7.75 inches wide. Kids' feet fit perfectly on this deck without the added length and weight. The kids we worked with learned to skate a lot faster with boards that were designed for them instead of the bigger heavier boards that are typically found on the market. This is the perfect first skateboard for the aspiring skater in your life!

The skateboard culture is often inspired by art and artists' works. Graphics tend to make a statement and artists tend to get an avid following. We designed 3 different graphics all inspired by the skateboarding culture. Pick which one best represents you and let it rip!

Skateboarding has long been considered a niche hobby but, since it was featured at the 2020 summer Olympics, it's blown up to be the must-try sport for kids everywhere. If you have a kid who has been turned on to skateboarding, you're probably looking for the best beginner skateboard to put under the Christmas tree. Have no fear! We've got you covered.

Whether you're looking to gift them their first skateboard, or if they are ready to upgrade to something more substantial, we spoke with experts to get tips on what to look for when buying a board, and we pulled together a list of full skateboard packages we think are great. All of these are complete with trucks and wheels and are ready to roll.

Soft wheels, a durable deck and bold designs make this a high-performing starter board that kids will feel cool riding. This versatile board comes in a classic shape that gives lots of stability to beginner riders, and reviewers praise this for being a board that gives a smooth, easy to control ride.

Originally a skateboard wheel company, Darkstar has expanded to full boards under the guidance of skating pro Chet Thomas. Their move to complete boards has been met with great reviews. This is another entry-level, under $100 board that Betts recommends. These completes are known for their smooth handling and durability.

There is not a strict age limit to determine when kids should start skateboarding. It is recommended that kids should have good motor skills and balance before riding a board. Usually, the age of 5 to 6 years is old enough to start skateboarding.

However, a big difference lies in the graphics of the decks. Skateboards for kids generally feature more colorful, brighter, and funny deck graphics when compared to adult skateboards. This makes them more appealing to the smallest members of the family.

Today we will dive into all of the specifics of kids skateboards, and why they make for a particularly fun ride. So strap in, and prepare to learn everything there is to know about the best kids skateboards on the market today.

Another problem we see with some kids boards, are bad bearings. This will make it difficult for your kids to get the proper speed, though lower speeds do also mean they'll be safer (and will have an easier time with control).

In actuality, there are only skateboards. Oftentimes, girls will like to customize their boards with unicorns, hearts, or other stereotypical "girly" things - which is what a 'skateboard for girls' is usually referring to.

There are actually a number of different types of boards to get for kids, but girls may be best served by starting on a longboard. Boys and girls can both quickly gain confidence on these types of boards, and they make cruising easy.

Nora Vasconcellos (and other top female skaters) sometimes make custom graphics for girls, so if you're into that kind of thing, be sure not to miss those products. Once they've mastered the basics, you'll probably want to upgrade them to a custom skateboard - the kind we make right here at Stoked Ride Shop.

No matter what age your kids are, they should always be supervised. You should also make sure no kids under the age of 5 are skating, as they can get seriously injured (including hitting their heads and suffering brain damage).

That's because these shoes will be specifically constructed for skateboarding, and will make it much easier to land tricks and hit the ramps with. Vans makes many great pairs, but they are certainly not the only brand we recommend.

WhiteFang hits it out of the park again with this little kids board. Well-reviewed, and with a very low price point - it makes a perfect gift. While 10 year olds and up may not love this - the little ones likely will.

Kids have loved skateboarding for decades, and this trend is unlikely to change anytime soon. There is a little bit of athleticism, some danger, and some rebelliousness - all of which combine to make skateboarding very appealing.

Still a bit young, but when they reach the end of age 4 you could think about getting them a skateboard. Get the smallest junior-sized protective set and buy them a helmet. If you have a bike helmet laying around, you can use that too. At this age, they either can ride an adult-sized- or a kid-sized skateboard.

My kid is 6 years old at the moment and he just started skateboarding (update that was over a 2-years ago). He picks up skateboarding fast and from my personal experience, this is the best age to start.

You can assemble a skateboard yourself and buy the cheapest parts from different places or get a complete setup to save you time. Also, if you just select the parts and expect them all to fit together you might get disappointed. Trucks need to match the width of the skateboard deck and the wheels need to fit the trucks.

What I like about these skateboards is that they are assembled with young kids in mind. This means softer wheels, a quality maple/bamboo deck with awesome graphics, quality bearings, and decent trucks.

The wheels are soft and perform well on slick surfaces but most importantly, they can handle crusty asphalt, cracks, and pebbles. Kids are less likely to fall riding a skateboard that roll over small obstacles.

You have the choice between basic and premium skateboards, their basic skateboards are a great choice for beginners and offer lots of stability. They come in a couple of neat designs for both boys and girls from age 5 to 12.

SkateXS also offers excellent customer support and really care about kids having a positive skateboarding experience. They may be a bit more expensive but looking at the components, it really is a decent price. You might also want to pick a helmet.

One option is getting a smaller sized skateboard, like the one my son rides. I picked this Santa Cruz Skateboard for kids. This is a great skateboard with quality components. Santa Cruz is one of the oldest skateboard brands and makes quality boards. After 2 years it is still in good condition and we pushed this board to its limits.

Element is another reputable brand that offers skateboard with kids in mind. The great thing about this board is that the bushings are softer (plastic cones between the trucks) which helps your kid to steer and makes it the board more responsive. Lots of completes take some time before they steer properly but this one works right out the box.

The Meow complete comes it all sorts of sizes for both kids and even adults. Meow offers great quality parts though the bearings could use an update. I tested this board some time ago and was impressed by the quality. I also love the cute and artistic graphics.

If you can, buy a second hand one. but be careful, some of these second-hand skateboards may have worn down without you noticing. Decks can get waterlogged, bearings may be full of dust, rust, and dirt and the wheels could show signs of flat spots. Just spin the wheels and see if they rotate for a while. Anything under 4 seconds means the bearings need replacement.

Buy a used skateboard if you want but pay close attention to the boards condition. Make sure your kids wear proper protective gear at all times and stay with your kid when they are still at a very young age.

Do yourself a favor and buy a complete without the hassle of going through all to components and becoming an expert in skateboard parts. Shoes should be suitable for skateboarding and help provide stability.
